The wise have often told us that tragedy is an opportunity. Just as quickly, they suggest we need to cultivate an attitude of letting go. With all the upheaval in the world and evils perpetrated upon one another, it might do us some good to re-visit these concepts. How does one seize an opportunity and let go simultaneously?

Quick, you need a heavy box lifted off the floor, which gender do you turn to? I’m gonna bet most of you thought a male, or else you are male and said yourself.
I’ve been seeing an awfully lot on Veganism lately. In fact, the New York Times ran a little contest on why eating meat was ethical here. What they won’t tell you is I entered that little contest. I didn’t win it. However, since I have a blog, I don’t HAVE TO! UP YOURS, NEW YORK TIMES! (Unless you are an editor that would like to publish something else of mine, in which case, up yours far less)
